Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office For her role, she won an Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress and Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance in the Ensemble Comedy.
Jenna was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mom Anne often performed in dramas at church when she was younger which sparked an interest in theater.
She's a trained actress who returned to theater after The Office. The actress starred alongside Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy. At the Old Globe Theatre's premiere, she played opposite Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office actress Angela Kinsey Fischer, who is her real-life best friend and co-star, debuted Office Ladies in October 2019 on Earwolf. The show became hugely popular and ranked within the Top Ten of the world each week. The podcast received more than 200 million downloaded during its first two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
The Actor's Life The Actor's Life is her first novel, and describes the path she traveled to get from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood which is where she discovered her calling as an actress professionally. Her next book, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is a memoir of her best friend and her experience in The Office.
