Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about her childhood within "a White bubble." The actress also discusses how that realization has affected the parenting style of her adopted children who are multi-racial. In the latest episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy", and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl revealed that she didn't care about her complexion until she got to know her adoptive sister who was from South Korea. "I asked Meg what she thought about being different when she went out with our parents and those who went out alone. She replied: 'Oh sure, I was treated the same way all the time!' Heigl said to her parents: "That was when I discovered how naive I made me feel." According to the actor, she was furious. However, she wanted to channel her anger into helping the girls she adopted. Heigl has a son who is four year with Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea at the age of 12 in 2009. and then Adalaide who was 8 years young and Black in 2012.
