Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My son played inside a playpen, while I worked 12-hour days in sanding floors and taking down the wallpaper. Ha! All was starting to come together but it wasn't quite finished. It was going to take an enormous amount of effort and shopping my favorite to furnish this home. In order to keep my budget sound, I travelled with my three boys in search for bargains in estate sales. It was our weekly routine of walking around garage sales and auctions on the weekend, and buy a variety of furniture, both new and old made. It was my job to spend the day in the driveway painting or sanding. The look was a little similar to the following... Here's the place where my passion for restoring antique furniture started. I continued to restore furniture even after we had furnished our house. There was an area at the local markets that I could sell my pieces. Then I bought more that I had no idea how to use them and outgrew the space. My home was where I would host open houses in which more than 1000 people could come in and purchase any product they wanted on the first floor within a single weekend. Growing Days was created in this home. My business was not only flourishing, but I was also growing my sweet family too. It was like I had found the perfect balance between being a mum and launching my business. Growing Days just seemed to be the right fit. Nora came into our lives in 2013 as our 4th baby. Although I was happy about the direction my company went, I was feeling like I was in need of a little break. I took a break from vintage furniture to spend the time I needed with my kids. At the time, it was the ideal thing to do. It was only after several months when the phones began to call. Numerous people reached me to ask for advice about home improvement or decorating. A majority of those calling me were from those who came to my house at one of the furniture open house events. After a while I began to take on customers at my pace. Soon I had several accounts and a home remodeling business. If you'd told me that my business would be an idea for the DIY Network show, I might have been astonished. Actually I still kind of amused when I think of it.
