Ashley Darby has been a TV and radio celebrity in America for many years. Her first job was as a waitress in order to keep her family afloat. Though she's been passionate about fashion and entertainment from very beginning in her life but it wasn't until later that her interest was recognized. She took part in the pageant and put her all into it. In addition, she was awarded the title of Miss District of Columbia for the year 2011 In 2011, she participated at The Miss America Pageant. Although she didn't win the crown, she was awarded an award. She also won an award called the John Curran Award, which is an award for interviewing non-finalists.
